14.1 (The Second Time Round)
Not much to say here. Just keeping you nice and informed as we work through the Open. I plan to test all these workouts at least twice. My game plan on the first try was to pace the first 2-3 rounds a bit, and then start to accelerate through the finish, holding on for whatever I had left. My plan the second time was to throw the first one out the window, hit the gas early and hold it as long as I could. The unfortunate part of this is that if I had done the second strategy the first time, I think I easily had a 345+ score in me. I just didn’t get fresh enough again to retest over the weekend. That being said I’m still in the hunt, so I’m happy.

My math is a little fuzzy, but this is something like 94th percentile of male Crossfit athletes in the world. I’m happy to be up that high, hopefully I can hold out for the next 4 weeks. Consistency is key!
