I labeled this section Paleo lifestyle. I did that because it’s the most accurate description, if you think about it as a diet you’re probably not getting everything out of it that you could be. Ask anyone close to me and they’ll tell you I hate the term “Paleo.” It conjures images of cavemen clubbing animals and eating them, which I love; but it also comes with a loaded connotation that I’m trying to recreate a lifestyle of an extinct breed of humanity. I simply want to enjoy life, live as healthily as possible for as long as possible while maximizing performance and minimizing complexity.
If you have questions about Paleo I’m happy to try and answer as well as I can, but the resources online already are endless and I will likely link you to one of many articles I have bookmarked. Robb Wolf is the goto name in Paleo, but other sites like the Paleo subreddit, and PaleoHacks are filled with more knowledge than I could ever hope to obtain.
I cook a lot but rarely use recipes, on occasion I might post a vague outline of something I thought was good, but don’t expect measurements because I don’t really cook with measuring devices. Likewise, I eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full. Some days I probably eat 1800 calories, others I probably push 4000, it all just depends – so if you’re expecting measurements, data and figures; you’re gonna have a bad time.
